Lobna “Luby” Ismail is the President and driving force behind Connecting Cultures. As an American-born Muslim woman of Egyptian descent, she understands what it is like to live between two cultures and two faiths. Luby grew up connecting across cultures and faiths as the only Arabic-speaking Muslim family in a small evangelical Christian community. She didn't feel isolated. She was an integral part of the community: respected, included, and loved as Americans.
